Unfolding Values Private Limited ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy describes what we collect through this website and our tools, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you contact us. If you reach out through our contact form or by email, we collect what you provide. Your name, email address, company name, ticker, and the contents of your message.
When you use our free tools. The tools run in your browser. The figures and answers you enter are not sent to us unless you choose to create an account and save them (see below). Your browser may store your recent inputs locally on your own device so a tool can remember them.
If you create an account (optional). Our tools work with no account. If you choose to sign in with Google to save your work, our authentication provider shares your name and email address with us to create your account. Any tool inputs, results, or a shared company profile that you choose to save are then stored to your account so you can return to them.
Automatically. We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL) and use two analytics providers to understand how the site and the tools are used: Google Analytics, which sets analytics cookies, and PostHog, a product-analytics service hosted in the United States. Between them they record which pages are opened, which step of a tool a visitor reaches, whether they finish, your browser, device and screen size, and your IP address and the approximate location derived from it (country, region, city). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Session replay. On the free tool pages, PostHog also records a replay of your visit, so we can see where a tool becomes confusing. All form inputs and all on-screen text are masked in these recordings: the figures you type into a tool, and the results it shows you, are not captured. PostHog runs on the tool pages only.
Turning it off. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we load no PostHog at all — no analytics, no recording. Both are honoured automatically; you do not need to ask us.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to your inquiry, provide and improve the tools and services you request, save and restore your work when you are signed in, and keep the site secure. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.
Cookies and local storage
If you sign in, we use essential cookies to keep you logged in for your session. Tools may use your browser's local storage to remember inputs on your own device. We use Google Analytics (which sets analytics cookies) to measure traffic. PostHog stores a visitor identifier in your browser's local storage — not a cookie — so that a return visit is recognised as the same person. No third-party advertising cookies are set.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data only on our behalf: Google (for optional sign-in and Google Analytics), PostHog (product analytics and session replay, hosted in the United States), Supabase (secure account and saved-data storage), Cloudflare (website hosting and delivery), and our contact/email provider. Each is bound to handle your data solely to provide these services.
Data retention and security
We keep contact messages as long as needed to respond and maintain the relationship, and account data until you delete it or ask us to. Data is protected in transit (HTTPS) and access-controlled at rest. Saved account data is isolated so that you can access only your own.
Your choices and rights
You can use every free tool without an account. If you have an account, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your data at any time. Deleting your account removes your saved data. To make a request, reach out.
Children
This site and its tools are intended for business use by adults and are not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy as our tools evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
